Forgive my photos, we were starving and dug right in 😂 We just had a great lunch at Guisados Home Style Mexican Cooking. I'm already dreaming about the next time we can go back! 😍 We ordered the mole, bistec, kids carne quesadilla, and guac. We couldn't finish it all and get to eat it again which is the best part LOL. I was intrigued by their combination platters and if we hadn't come to try the mole specifically we would have gotten one. We will definitely try them next time (large quantities for family style dining). I loved the bright colorful napkins keeping my tortillas warm 💛

Incredible Mexican food with no gimmicks. The tortillas are freaking home made. We tried the cochinita pibil and the barbacoa de res. Both were phenomenal. My daughter got a quesadilla and it was top notch tasty. Comes with a variety of toppings and homemade sauces. Great service, it did take a minute to get out, but we were happy to wait because the food was so tasty.

Amazing food!! I got the enchiladas and tacos. I fell in love with my food. The portions were huge!! That’s a bonus for me as it feels more in line with the traditional Mexican culture. This was a very authentic tasting restaurant and I am very pleased!! We will definitely be coming back here. The customer service was very friendly and helpful as well, if a little slow to serve us in the beginning.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Utah. Best I’ve had. Unbelievable selection to choose from. Pozole verde is amazing. Barbacoa de res, cochinita, mole, etc are all amazing. Hand made tortillas.

Best experience in Taylorsville. If you’re looking for the real authentic Mexican food this is the place. Bring your kids to enjoy a taco and any plate. It’s extremely delicious.
